These pre-decimal coins are the size of an American half dollar. There were 12 pennies in a shilling, 20 shillings to a pound sterling.
These large pennies were demonitized and no longer in circulation when the UK went to the decimal system over 50 years ago.
Included are 2 with H (Heaton) mintmark and many high-grade examples
