A reprinted full size, 12 page, special edition April 16, 1912 Boston Globe Newspaper included with this auction.
    In 1912, the
    Carpathia had
navigated the ice fields to arrive two hours after the S.O.S. was sent out & the
    Titanic
had sunk. The Carpathia crew and passengers rescued 705 survivors from the Titanic's lifeboats and transported them to New York City. See front page story on the Boston Globe reprint newspaper.
    Six years later, the
    Carpathia
was sunk during WW-I on 17 July 1918 after being torpedoed three times   off the southern Irish coast. Passengers left the ship in lifeboats with only a loss of five crew members.
    This  1900 coin artifact
was recovered from the debris field of the wreck of the  RMS Carpathia.
The COA  is signed by the Diver working for the Salvage Company and has a photo of the ship and  the story of the shipwreck.
Also included is a full size 12 page special edition reprint of the  April 16,1912 Boston Globe Newspaper detailing ( on every page ) the story of the Carpathia's arrival with Titanic passengers . There are many pictures, graphics, and much information.
