With its characteristic "cartwheel" rims this is a longtime favorite among collectors. However, as circulation coinage it was violently unpopular due to sheer impracticality: one solid ounce of copper to weigh down and often tear through your pockets!
Lovely colors, smooth surfaces, and a high state of preservation make for an attractive and pleasing piece. Unobtrusive corrosion on the top left above George III's head earned the AU Details grade instead of probably an AU58, but the upside is you can get a coin of this quality for easily 0 less than an actual AU58.
