Description

1937 bronze Great Britain penny.  A total mintage of 88,896,000 were struck that year.   Obverse features the bust of King George VI  and the reverse features the seated figure of Britannia.  This was the year after George VI ascended to the throne after his brother, Edward VIII abdicated for the "Love of his Life".
