1797 Great Britain TWOPENCE 2P George III Cartwheel - Copper - KM #619

A nice, clean original better grade example of the Great Britain one year type (1797) George III twopence (2P) copper "cartwheel". This 56.4g, 40mm large copper coin (KM #619) was minted at the Soho Mint in Birmingham. Most of these low denomination coins were too heavy to carry and use in everyday commerce. The ones you do see are usually beaten up, damaged, or cleaned.  Tough to find a better grade, original condition, and undamaged example.  Nice even chocolate surfaces both observe and reverse.  See accompanying photographs and you decide the final condition and whether it would be a pleasing addition to your collection.
